A Wisconsin Christmas Tree Legacy

The 2026 honor continues a remarkable Wisconsin Christmas tree tradition. The Chapman/Daggett family has earned the NCTA National Grand Champion title five times, and this marks the fourth time Silent Night Evergreens will provide a Christmas tree for the White House — 1998, 2003, 2017 and 2026.

David Chapman represents the third generation of his family’s Christmas tree growing tradition. This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as David and his wife, Leah, share the experience with their daughters and the next generation of the family.
