Fall Field Day: Making the Most of Your Boughs

WCTPA Fall Field Day: Making the Most of Your Boughs

Fall Field Day: Making the Most of Your Boughs

Basal Pruning, Brush Cutting, & More

Join us for a hands-on afternoon that will focus on practical bough harvesting and cutting techniques for smaller farms. Host Katie Podgorski will demonstrate how to harvest boughs efficiently, process branches for different uses, and turn leftover greenery into centerpieces and seasonal décor. Members will have a chance to make a greenery product, ask questions, and connect with fellow growers in a relaxed farm setting.

Northwoods Evergreen and Wire will bring tools and a bough bundling machine. The event is free for WCTPA members, and light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP by Wednesday, October 7th so we can plan supplies for everyone. Dress for outdoor, hands-on work.
